About the project
The Johnson Residential Subdivision project was a 300-lot residential subdivision that increased housing supply in the Northern Territory.
Empower was brought in to develop value engineering concepts to reign in project budget. Empower was also requested to create a better understanding of stormwater management across the project—which was of concern to the client.
Scope
Empower was engaged for value engineering concepts, leading into detailed design and documentation, infrastructure consultant management, regulatory approvals, construction management, and handover.
Outcomes
Following the development of value engineered concepts, overall stormwater management strategy was created. This proceeded into detailed design and documentation, for what was ultimately a very successful project for our client. Collaboration with Urbex, BMD Urban and regulators was critical to achieve strong project outcomes.
