HS2 is the UK’s largest infrastructure project, delivering a new high-speed rail link between London, Birmingham, and the North. Empower has been engaged on one of HS2’s key works, the high-profile Old Oak Common Station in London, which is a major interchange integrating HS2 with the Elizabeth Line and Great Western Main Line services.
Empower is also engaged on preparatory works at Euston, where the future HS2 terminus is under review, pending pre-baselining outcomes.
Scope
Rail infrastructure advice to support station construction and integration with existing rail assets
Tiger team facilitation to drive efficient delivery of commissioning phases
Management of lean consultants to support HS2’s efficiency programme (particularly focusing on Platform 1 and 2)
Relationship support to strengthen collaboration between the BBVS joint venture partners and Network Rail teams
