Empower strengthens design and advisory capability across Australia and the UK

Across both businesses, the focus remained on combining technical expertise with practical delivery experience to improve project certainty, manage risk and support better outcomes for clients.  

During FY26, Empower supported 138 projects, including 62 property development projects and eight renewable energy projects. Its work spanned property development, infrastructure and renewable energy, with teams providing early technical input, design review and constructability advice.  

Empower’s National General Manager Matthew Beggs said the year reinforced the value of integrating design with delivery.  

“Our focus is on understanding our client’s required outcomes and developing design solutions that create greater certainty and deliver better project results. By bringing technical expertise and practical delivery thinking together early, we can identify risks, improve constructability and support better outcomes across cost, program and delivery.”  

Empower Advisory also strengthened its specialist capability across major and highly regulated infrastructure, maintaining key commissions across Sizewell C, Hinkley Point C and Devonport in the UK and expanding its support for Anglian Water’s strategic water resources program.  

Empower Advisory General Manager Peter Anusas said practical delivery experience remained central to the business’s offering.  

“Our strength comes from people who understand how complex projects are actually delivered. That experience allows us to help clients define scope, manage risk and make better-informed decisions at the stages where they can have the greatest impact on long-term project outcomes.”  

Looking ahead, Empower will continue building capability across property, infrastructure and renewables, while Empower Advisory expands its advisory, assurance and project performance offering across Australia and the UK.
