David Whiteford

With over 35 years’ experience in the industry in the UK, David has progressed from site engineer to project director on schemes up to £250M in value. He has worked in rail, nuclear, defence, water and highways. Until recently, his experience has been as a contractor, with a proven track record in winning and delivering complex infrastructure and in establishing and leading large teams. Over the last four years, he has transitioned to consultancy work, where his experience in the field brings value to clients in the front end of project development. 

Hard-won experience on challenging projects has instilled an eye for detail whether in safety, quality, cost or time. Outside of work, David enjoys time with his family, visiting his native Scotland (and elsewhere), playing golf, and music.
